Adeptis Academy in Partnership with PGI

20 April 2021 Shannon Johnson

Adeptis Group and Protection Group International (PGI) announce cyber training academy partnership.

Adeptis Group has partnered with British digital risk services and training consultancy, PGI to offer innovative training and immersive exercising infrastructure to organisations aiming to develop their in-house cyber security capability.

Adeptis Academy, powered by PGI Cyber Academy, will offer bespoke cyber security skills training programmes for practitioners—from basic to advanced levels—in all the main cyber security skills disciplines, including cyber threat intelligence; security operations centre; governance, risk and compliance; and security testing.

Jonathan Palling, CEO and Founder of Adeptis Group believes that this partnership is a vital part of closing the cyber security skills gap.

“As part of our end-to-end solution to bridging the skills gap in cyber security, we are delighted to announce the official launch of the Adeptis Academy powered by our strategic partner PGI,” Mr Palling said.

“The combination of our core Cyber recruitment expertise and PGI’s training capability will enable us to provide customers and practitioners with a truly integrated solution and a genuine competitive edge in the market,” he said.

Sebastian Madden, PGI’s Chief Corporate Development Officer, is delighted to be partnering with Adeptis Group to help their clients develop their staff to manage and mitigate cyber risks.

“Reliance on technology to realise business benefits or achieve operational efficiencies opens organisations of all sizes up to increasingly sophisticated cyber threats; and sector regulators increasingly require formal assurance that those carrying out vital work to strengthen cyber security defences are up to the task,” Mr Madden said.

“This is why PGI has developed cyber security training that is aligned to the certifications and standards that regulators require.

“Adeptis Group is a specialist recruiter within cyber security and understands the specific skills its clients need and how those align with what regulators require,” he said.

The courses available via Adeptis Academy are aligned with internationally recognised certifications—such as CREST, BCS, CompTIA, Tigerscheme and Cyberscheme as well as skills frameworks such as the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISEC) and NICE.

The Adeptis Academy is part of Adeptis Group’s pledge to provide businesses with a real competitive edge by enabling people to harness the skills needed to get ahead.

PGI has experience in developing cyber security maturity and delivering technical training programmes and national exercises to staff from government, military, critical infrastructure, and financial services in over 50 countries worldwide.
