Our Executive Search Process

Palling & Co. are the retained executive search division of Adeptis Group. They combine market leading head-hunting services with a unique expertise in cyber security to combat the skills gap and give their clients a competitive edge in the market. 

The process that Palling & Co. undertake with each of their search assignments is tailored to each individual client depending on their requirements, however, would typical follow a thorough and high quality structure: 

All stakeholders attend a briefing session to fully define the competencies, responsibilities, objectives, and industry experience required for a position. Timelines, scope, scale and parameters of the search including target companies, individuals, and importantly the Clients Employee Value Proposition (EVP). 

Research and Mapping 
Research is then commenced, mapping the full candidate market for each skillset, in each location, systematically identifying every candidate who looks to have the capability and experience for the roles specified. 

Candidate Approached
Approaching each candidate intelligently and discreetly, using a blend of communication methods. Palling & Co. then engage directly with everyone, gaining as much interest in the opportunity as possible. All candidates with the desired skills and experience who are interested in the position will be deemed suitable for the longlist. 

Palling & Co. then present candidates to the client as they have passed our assessment and are deemed suitable for interview. All shortlisted candidates will have been qualified, expressed an interest in the company, and have been assessed based on the pre-agreed behavioural, functional, and technical competency-based questions. 

Weekly Steering Meetings 
The whole process is completely transparent. During each update, all results of the search to date are shared and the Client is made aware of everyone candidate identified, approached, assessed and the outcomes, as the project progresses. 

Interviewing and Referencing
Full support to arrange interviews with each candidate, taking feedback at regular intervals, and ensuring each party is fully formed at every stage. We will be happy to take references if required. 

Offer Management 
Once a suitable package has been agreed, we will present the offer to the successful candidate and support through any negotiation, to ensure all parties are happy with the final arrangement.
