Cyber Security Content Manager - Tallinn, Estonia

Adeptis Group is currently partnered with a rapidly growing training and education business, that is specifically focussed on the cyber security space and is building bespoke lab and training environments to further the careers of current security professionals and those looking to enter the space.

We are looking for technically minded managers in the security space who are capable of leading and growing specific areas of the content team and who think they are up to the challenge of designing and creating content to be turned into truly immersive training environments to further the careers of experts in the field.

This is a truly exciting and unique opportunity to take your real-world experience as well as researching into emerging threats to create practical yet fun environments for others to learn from.

Some things you'll be doing:

  • Leading a team of security experts to thinking up and design engaging content for cybersecurity labs and challenges
  • Managing a team of developers who will turn your ideas into reality
  • Research current and new threats constantly keeping up to date with threat landscape to enable content to be kept up to date and relevant
  • Create and write learning materials for various security tools
  • Strategize on how to grow and further develop the team to maximise results
  • Help to set up intricate networks for large cyber games as well as developing vulnerable applications or systems
  • Engage with an active training community online sharing tips and advise

What you will need:

  • Previous experience working in Cyber Security
  • A deep technical understanding of Windows security (you will be leading the Widows content team)
  • Understanding of cybersecurity measures to protect organisation's networks and systems, and knowledge on identifying technical security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience in at least one scripting language (Ruby, Python, etc) to script a cyber-attack
  • Prior Leadership or Management experience
  • Understanding of Linux operating systems, their vulnerabilities, and hardening methods
  • Most important of all a deep passion for security

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in Penetration testing
  • Experience creating online learning content or delivering content as a tutor/ instructor
  • Can read and understand Java, PHP, JavaScript programming languages
  • Can compile programs and/or payloads in the C programming language
